|Khush Bodhan, President
Khush was born and brought up in India to parents who spent innumerable hours doing social work and helping those that were not as fortunate as them. Mother Teresa was a frequent visitor at his home in Jamshedpur. After getting a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Auditing from the University of Mumbai he went to London, England and worked for the CPA firm of Deloitte and Touche. He met his wife Nancy ( a native of San Leandro, California ) in London and after getting married in 1973 decided to emigrate to the United States and live in the Bay Area. After completing his tenure he was made a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. After emigrating, he continued working for Deloitte and Touche in the San Francisco office.
In 1981 he became a Certified Public Accountant for the State of California and in 1984 earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate and Financial Planning from Golden Gate University in San Francisco (wearing out library benches was a mission he almost completed). In 1990 he went out on his own and started the accounting firm of ASK Accountax Consultants Inc that currently serves about 400 tax and accounting clients. In 2004 Khush became a real estate broker affiliated with Better Homes Realty. His real estate firm ASK Real Estate Inc specializes in tax free 1031 exchanges.
After some prodding from his tax client Lion Don Kiang, Khush joined the Amador Valley Lions Club in 2004 . After learning that the Blind Center in Oakland was going to close Khush volunteered to help rescue it from closure. He along with Lion Michael Cohen and Mr. Dave Gregerson managed the Blind Center after receiving ample support from Lions Ed Cossart, Lion Lyle Morris and several others. For his efforts in essentially reducing the deficit from approximately $200,000 to $6,000 within a year and running the Center, he was awarded the Melvin Jones Award in 2005.
After serving on a Mission to Vera Cruz with Lions In Sight, Khush decided to spend his energies with Lions In Sight and is currently a Director for Lions In Sight of California and Nevada.
His two children Shanta (26) and Seth (18) are ardent supporters of the Lions and in fact Seth received certificates from both the Blind Center and the Amador Valley Club for contributing nearly 200 hours of his time to help the visually impaired.
|Chris Morris, PDG, First Vice President
Chris Morris is a Past District Governor from District 4-C6 and currently serves as the MD-4 Leadership Development Chair. Chris was born in Alameda, grew up in Concord and graduated from San Jose State with a degree in Public Relations. He currently works as a real estate Broker in Los Gatos and is a 23 year member of the Los Gatos Lions Club.
Chris is married to Lion Lee who is a nurse at Kaiser and secretary of the Santa Clara Host Lions. They have a son, Dale, daughter-in law Angela and granddaughter Jacqueline. Chris is a progressive Melvin Jones Fellow. He also enjoys umpiring baseball and trout fishing.
|Jim Ashcraft, Second Vice President
Jim was born in West Virginia and moved to Sacramento with his family at the age of 13.
Sports was a large part of his high school years. He attended UC Berkeley earning a degree in Civil Engineering and played on the Cal Basketball team serving as team captain his last year. Following graduation he served 2 years in the Peace Corps living in a small village near Cuzco, Peru. He worked for the Peruvian government agency and was involved in mobilizing and teaching the local residents in the construction of schools, secondary roads, irrigation canals and drinking water systems.
After returning to the U.S., he worked for a couple of years before earning his Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. After moving to San Diego, he worked for several companies as a consulting engineer in private industry since 1973, specializing in the design of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment systems, water reclamation facilities and desalination systems with both national and international projects.
Jim met his wife, Lion Fran, in San Diego. When Jim is not working, he is an avid golfer. They have a son, Greg, who lives in the Portland area and a daughter, Kim, who lives in Phoenix. Lion Jim and Fran are members of the San Diego Mission Lions Club. Jim has served as club President and Treasurer several times and has been Region Chair and is currently a Zone Chair in District 4L-6. Lion Jim and Fran were introduced to Lions In Sight by Lion Patty Wilson. Their first clinic trip was to San Luis Potosi, Mexico, in August 2001. Since then they have participated in many clinics throughout Mexico and in April 2012 they were part of the clinic team to Lima, Peru.

Lee has been a Vallejo Host Lion for 34 years and a Past President three times. He is also a Past Zone Chairman, Past Region Chairman, and Past Cabinet Secretary two times. Lee is a Marilyn Green Life Member and a Bud Jensen Fellow.
Lee is a graduate of University of California, College of Pharmacy, with a Bachelor of Science. He has been a Registered Pharmacist since 1954 and owned several pharmacies in Solano County. Lee retired in 1996.
Lee married his high school sweetheart, Maggie in 1954 and they have one daughter and three grandchildren.

Dr. Bill Iannaccone, of Walnut Creek, California, USA, served a two-year term as a Director of the International Association of Lions Clubs following his election at the association's 75th International convention, held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, July 6 - 9, 1993. Past Director "Dr. Bill" practices chiropractic in Walnut Creek, California.
A Lion since 1976, Past Director "Dr. Bill" is a member of the Walnut Creek Host Lions Club. He has held many positions within the association, including Club President twice (Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek Host), Zone Chairman, Cabinet Secretary and District Governor (4-C3, 1985 - 1986). He has also served as a presenter at two USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forums and was a group leader at the District Governor-Elect School.
Past Director Iannaccone is a very active locally, having served as President of the Lions Wilderness Camp for deaf children, President of the Lions In Sight Eyeglass Recycling Center, Trustee and President of the Lions Eye Foundation of California/Nevada and Editor of the Lions Eye Foundation Periodical, "The Retina." He recently finished a two-year term as the President of the Walnut Festival Association and serves as Chief Operations Officer of Lions In Sight.
Past Director "Dr. Bill" has received numerous awards in recognition of his service to the Association, including the 100% District Governor Award with the highest net increase in membership (+176 net new members) in the world outside of the Asian countries.
A Senior Master Key Award, Five International President's Certificates of Appreciation, several Extension Awards, Five International President's Awards and the Ambassador of Goodwill Award, the highest award the Association grants to its members. He is a Life Member of Lions Clubs International, a Life Member and Helen Keller Fellow of the Lions Eye Foundation. A Life Member and recipient of the Alexander Graham Bell Award of the Ear of the Lions Foundation. He is a Marilyn Green Life Member and Wayne Cannon Fellow of Lions In Sight, as well as a Bud Jensen Fellow. He is an Abdul Award recipient and recently was presented a Life Membership for Canine Companions for Independence. He is also a Seven Diamond Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow. He currently is serving as Chief Operations Officer for Lions In Sight, a position he has held since 1999.
Past Director "Dr. Bill" has been proud to represent District 4-C3 and MD-4 in his world-wide travels on behalf of Lionism.
|Ted Fichter, Immediate Past President
Lion Ted grew up in Nashville TN and St. Louis MO. He graduated from Northeast Missouri State University (now called Truman University). He moved to Northern CA in 1988 and has been a financial advisor since 1989. He has been with Merrill Lynch for fourteen years.
Lion Ted has no kids, just two dogs. He is a chronic St. Louis Cardinal fan. Lion Ted has been a Danville Lion since 1991 and is a Past President. He serves on the Lions In Sight Board of Directors and is the Investment Committee Chair.
