Lions In Sight collected and recycled over 590 thousand pairs of eyeglasses in the fiscal year 2006 - 2007. We have collected over 9.8 million pairs of eyeglasses in 20 years of eyeglass recycling. Many thanks to those who donated their used or discontinued eyeglasses to our organization. Without your generosity we would not be able to do the work we do. The donated eyeglasses are sorted and processed at our warehouse by Lions volunteers and University of California Berkeley School of Optometry students for clinic missions and distribution to other organizations around the world.

Distribution
In fiscal year 2006 - 2007, Lions In Sight distributed more eyeglasses than were collected. We shipped over 786 thousand pairs of eyeglasses to 12 countries. Since 1987 we have distributed nearly 6.5 million pairs of eyeglasses to 67 countries.
