Mary Jane Patton is a native of California and a product of California schools. She worked for the FBI for 9 years, while completing her education at LBCC Night School. She was a School Administrator for 4 years and taught for one year. She spent 28 years in the Savings and Loan Industry prior to retirement.
Volunteer service: Police Department 9 yrs (Volunteer of the Year 2000), school librarian 5 yrs, and Lions 19 yrs, honored with 3 Lion of the Year awards, Melvin Jones Fellow and Fred W Smith Fellow and 3 Lions International President Appreciation certificates. Past President 2 clubs, Past District Cabinet Secretary/Treasurer, Past Convention committee and chairperson, MD4 Public Relations chairperson. I am currently (4 years) the Unit Manager of the LEFSC Mobil Screening Unit and 4L2 Trustee for LIS. I have attended 9 International conventions and 5 USA/Canada forums.
Mary Jane travels every chance she gets, taking 6 or 7 trips a year. She has been actively compiling the Patton, Poole, Brodzinski, and Kirsop family history which includes wedding pictures from the early 1900’s to present day. Using Family Tree software she now has compiled over 2800 names. She enjoys being able to share with other family members their history, with the past and current pictures of family members.
