Lions In Sight of California and Nevada

Pam Burdick, PDG

Lion Pam joined the Mojave Lions Club in May 1989 just before her twin sons graduated from high school.  She quickly became involved in all things Lion.

She served her club as president, secretary, board member and her favorite job – tail twister.

She served as zone, region and Youth Exchange Program chairman, cabinet secretary-treasurer, vice district governor and as the first woman governor in District 4-L1 in 1998-1999.

Married for 39 years to VDG Ron Burdick Lionism has truly become a family affair.  Pam’s mom is a member of their club as was their late son, Eric.  Ron & Pam are lucky to have son Bryan and his wife Tricia, their twins Grace and Greg, daughter in law Laura and grandchildren Luc & Corinne living within a five mile radius.

Since 1973 Pam has worked for Kieffe & Sons Ford in Mojave as the Business Manager and Secretary-Treasurer.  She is looking forward to joining Ron in retirement to fully enjoy traveling and serving as the supportive spouse.

Ron & Pam participated in a LIS trip to Oaxaca several years ago and became thoroughly hooked on the Lions in Sight program.   They both found it humbling to be able to provide the gift of sight to those less fortunate.

Currently serving LIS as 1st Vice President Pam is looking forward to learning more about the inner workings necessary to keep this organization running smoothly.
