Patty joined the Harbor Lioness Club in 1985 and in 1991 became a charter member of the Tierrasanta Lions Club. She later transferred to the Mission Lions Club when the Tierrasanta Lions Club turned in their Charter. In 1993 after being interviewed by Marilyn and Bob Green, Patty was elected to served as Area 4 Director for Lions in Sight and has served in that capacity since.
Patty averages about one clinic mission a year. She enjoys meeting and working with Lions from other countries and putting smiles on people’s faces when they get a pair of glasses that enables them to see clearly for the first time in many years and when children’s faces light up when they can see.
Patty is also an active member of the AT&T Telephone Pioneers, Skyline Wesleyan Church, 62 year member of the Order of Eastern Star and a Life Member of the Flying Samaritans International. She has four children with families living from North Carolina to Washington State; it is a good thing she loves to travel.
